Admission Procedure And Eligibility

Procedure
  1. Application forms/Prospects can be obtained from 24th June, 2019 onwards on payment of Rs. 1500/- at PIFD Campus, Lahore.
  2. Application forms can also be downloaded from website, www.pifd.edu.pk. which can be sent by post against Bank Draft of Rs. 1700/- in favour of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design Lahore OR proof of online payment in A/C # 50397000268851(HBL, Expo Centre Branch, Lahore.) amounting Rs. 1700/-
  3. Last date for submission of application forms will be 20th July, 2019.
  4. Admission Entry / Aptitude Test (English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Drawing and Creative Skills) for all the areas of Pakistan will be held on 24th July, 2019.
  5. The candidates from Punjab will appear in PIFD Main Campus Lahore.
  6. The Candidates from other provinces will appear in the centers set up by TDAP offices at Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
  7. List of shortlisted candidates for interviews will be displayed on PIFD Notice Boards/Website on 25th July, 2019. (Evening)
  8. Interviews at PIFD Main Campus will be conducted on 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st July, 2019.
  9. First Merit List of selected candidates will be displayed on Notice Boards/PIFD Website on 02nd August, 2019.
  10. Last date for submission of fee (First Merit List): 08th August, 2019.
  11. Second Merit List of selected candidates will be displayed on Notice Boards/PIFD Website on 09th August, 2019 (if required) and Last Date for submission of fee will be 16th August, 2019.
  12. Orientation / Commencement of classes will be on 19th August, 2019.
Eligibility Criteria
  1. Intermediate/ A-Level with 50% (550/1100) marks.
  2. A-Level with (Minimum 3 main subjects, no subsidiary) and O-Level with 8 subjects including five compulsory subjects are required.
  3. Intermediate Students awaiting results are also eligible for provisional admission. They should attach the attested copy of Part-I Result Card and Part- II Roll No. Slip of their respective Boards.
  4. A-Level students awaiting results are required to submit Statement of Entry. However provisional admission, if granted will not be confirmed without Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC with 50% marks. (550/1100)
  5. High School diploma holders must submit IBCC Equivalence with 50% marks. (550/1100)
Instructions
  1. Applicants are required to attach the attested photocopies of the following documents with the form.
    • (a) Matriculation/O Level Certificate with equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
    • (b) Detailed Marks Sheet of Intermediate /A-Level Certificate
    • A-Level Equivalence Certificate with 50% marks (550/1100) issued by IBCC.
    • Character Certificate from the institution last attended
    • Copies of CNIC of the applicant and Father/Guardian
    • Monthly Income Certificate of Father/Guardian
    • Domicile
    • Physical Fitness Certificate
    • Pages 1-5 of Passport for Foreign Students.
    • Four attested Passport size colored photographs in light background
  2. All the applicants are required to bring Entry Test Slip, Receipt of Form, one attested photograph with them at the time of Entry Test and Interview.
  3. After the display of merit list, all the selected applicants are required to bring the original documents, one set of attested copy of these documents and four photographs at the time of depositing the dues during registration.
  4. The selected candidates will be admitted provisionally and the ‘Verification Committee’ will confirm admission after the verification of the documents. If at any stage, after the admission, it comes to the knowledge of the authorities that the documents presented by the applicant are fake or there is a misstatement or clerical error in the documents, his/her admission will be cancelled.
